Erin and Doug planned their wedding from Indianapolis, joining the trend of couples choosing Nashville for a destination wedding. Their love for the city drew them here to say their I Dos.

They had already picked out their venue when we began working together, but it is one of my absolute favorites - The Cordelle in downtown Nashville. We carefully chose all of their other vendors to fit their elegant style and that of the venue, which included an emphasis on natural materials. With a smaller guest list and some older guests, we decided to create comfortable seating areas for both the cocktail hour and reception. The notes of comfort, warm tones, and tasty beverages helped knock some of the chill off the December evening.

Locklane Weddings & Events, Gilmore Girls, Style Shoot, Style Me Pretty

If you're like me, you're counting down the days until the "Gilmore Girls" revival hits Netflix.

This summer, I bonded with Erin of Erin Lee Allender Photography over our shared love for "Gilmore Girls."

I decided it would be fun to combine our friendship and fandom to collaborate on a style shoot before the show's revival. We got busy planning and dreaming, while I searched for the perfect venue that reminded me of the Dragonfly Inn.

Three weeks ago, we found it! The Walker Inn in the adorable town of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, opened their doors and let a hoard of girls take over. Erin and I worked with a collection of other vendors to make our vision a reality.
